Since a young age, I have always possessed innate abilities to connect with and understand people effortlessly. When I discovered the field of marketing in my early twenties, I immediately knew that I had a natural talent for it. The principles of marketing resonated with me and immediately I was hooked. I was fortunate to have an incredible mentor who taught me everything I needed to know. Despite working a full-time job, I took night classes to learn the fundamentals and formalize my knowledge. I continued to learn from anyone who was willing to teach me. I continue to trust my intuition and my passion for people, which first sparked my interest, and it has not led me astray. For while marketing has evolved into the digital age (hallelujah!), you'll find people still exhibit many of the same behaviors, practices, and preferences they always have.

I truly enjoy the thrill that comes from both types of marketing, but to be honest most of my experience has been business to business. And there is something I find so exciting and challenging about marketing to other businesses versus consumers. But listen, if you have the next best "soap on a rope", I'll market the hell out of it.

I believe the thing that sets me apart from others is my ability to dig deep and get to the root of a company, getting to their "why", exposing their soft underbelly, which helps them to be more authentic, and in turn humanizes them as a company and brand and makes them more relatable.
